Major Israel-US rift over new Washington plan for Iran to continue enriching uranium with initial sanctions relief

 This week an amazing headline appeared on the Israeli Arutz Sheva news site. It read: “US Removing navy from Mid-East As Russia Enters.” So as the United States backs away from its involvement in any military activity, Russia is moving in its most powerful warships. Prophecies such as Daniel 11:40-43 come readily to mind.

At the same time we see a growing rift between the U.S. and Israel, with the United States Secretary of State John Kerry (a Roman Catholic) being told by Israeli leaders, “You are not an honest broker to Israeli-Palestinian talks” (Jerusalem Post, Saturday). Thus we see the world turning more and more against Israel, just as Scripture predicts:

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land” (Joel 3:2).

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city” (Zechariah 14:2).

We are entering that phase of Israel’s development in which she needs her Redeemer and Deliverer. This Redeemer has been promised and will most surely be sent. When Israel is redeemed so will be all those who watch for salvation to come out of Zion. Let each and every one of us pray for that event.

Israel announced early Thursday, Nov. 7, that it is utterly opposed to the new proposal the United States plans to put before the two-day Geneva conference on Iran’s nuclear program which begins later in the day. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, when he met US Secretary of State John Kerry in Jerusalem Wednesday night, bitterly accused the Obama administration of yielding to the Russian-backed Iranian position. Should Tehran renege on the deal, it is left by the US proposal with the capacity for enriching enough weapons-grade uranium in 10 days to build several nuclear weapons. By the time Washington or the nuclear watchdog caught on, it would be too late to stop Iran having The Bomb.
